Another fun side effect: Migraines.

Another migraine and I've finished the trial-size container of Excedrin Migraine so I'm back to having nothing that really helps.

If I can't get a scrip tomorrow for something that will beat it down enough for me to be functional without having to do the 2 hours-plus circuit of sick call and pharmacy bingo, I want it in writing that Ortho Tri-Cyclen has been worse for me than anovulatory dysfunctional uterine bleeding.

It's ridiculous that I've actually gotten worse since going on it. I'm turning the monitor off for the night to cut down the light in the house.

I wish what was wrong with me was something the base clinic knew how to deal with, because I think that's why I've had so much trouble. Leadies I know here that were seen by the clinic through their pregnancies have told me they had no problems with the Women's Health section, so I'm left guessing that I just got the runaround since no-one knew what to do with me.

I've already had the doctor I'll be seeing in Colorado (my old PCM when we lived in Evergreen) request my most recent records from the base clinic since our own request for copies will take awhile and once I'm home I'm going to see my doctor there and if they can't help me I'll have a referral within 3 days.

I appreciate the sentiment. *hugs*

I've heard terrible things about Ortho Tri-Cyclen from women with normal periods. Maybe you need to try a different pill. I'm on Mericet (spelling? Sounds like Mar - (like in Mary) - a - set

I was put on Ortho Tri-Cyclen to give me a regular period. Several relatives of mine (mostly on Mom's side, but my older sister too) have been on Ortho Tri-Cyclen for years with no complaints, so I'm pretty sure it's either a bad reaction with me or a bad reaction with whatever's been causing my female problems since May.

If my doctor in Colorado wants to try a different birth control pill to help my problems, I'll try it, but if it's just for birth control I want either an IUD or a tubal ligation. We're set with one child and if we're ever in a financial position to have more in the future, we'd rather take in foster children.
