Sinus pressure sucks, Friday Five, a quote on democracy and drinking ginger ale.

Like last night, I still feel like my left eye's going to pop out from the sinus pressure, but I didn't have to cook tonight. Working on TODCRA's site and chair-dancing with the midget (sitting in Himself's chair, since we can't both fit in mine).

If you want to see my answers to this week's Friday Five, they're in my weblog as usual.

Found this in the March-April issue of Utne:
"I love America because it is a confused, chaotic mess--and I hope we can keep it that way for at least another thousand years. The permissive society is the free society, the open society. Who gave us permission to live this way? Nobody did. We did. And that's the way it should be--only more so. The best cure for the ills of democracy is more democracy." -- Edward Abbey in The Journey Home

Now that I'm done typing, I'm going to drink some more ginger ale and hope to find some dried soybeans this weekend to make soy milk with. I'm starting to go into withdrawal. (Thanks for the recipe, vogonpoet.)
