Who knew that Texas offered an Airborne specialty license plate?

The recently issued registration renewal notice for the blue car says it's due for new plates. Vogon suggested a Boy Scouts plate because of me, but I want the Scout plates for when I get my own car. I went on the TXDOT website to look at all the specialty plate artwork and y'know, those wings were waiting. After the new plates arrive, even his car will say HOOAH!

Airborne parachutist...because if you don't get airborne, you just ain't much of a parachutist? :)

There are some pretty cool plates available, and I keep telling myself I'm going to get one soon. I haven't gotten around to it yet. I want the blood donar one, but can't donate anymore. I looked for a breast cancer one and there isn't one - which SURPRISED me! You would think the home of the Brinkers and the Komen Foundation would have this as a way to contribute and raise awareness.

Oh, I did read your other post, and I really hope it comes to a speedy conclusion. Those people are nuts to base Laurel's life on what they thought they saw out one day. Even if you HAD a bad day and were short with her, they don't have the whole story or know how Laurel is treated. She's a bright little girl and you generally don't get to where she is without parental support.

My thoughts are with you.

I was surprised at how few specialty license plates California offers. My dad would be bummed that the only collegiate plate they offer is for UCLA; he started college at HSU. (Go Lumberjacks!)

See, I read that and before following the link assumed that you meant Airborne the cold supplement. And I was wondering why they had their own license plate. Also what the requirements would be to get it.

If there were specialty license plates for things I could buy at the pharmacy, I would have a Tavist license plate, Laurel would have a Lip Smackers lip balm plate, and I think Vogon would have a Hearos ear plugs plate. (:
