I made freedom count in Denton County, TX.

We voted just before the end of the school day at our local elementary school. It was our precinct's voting location this year instead of the equally close housing community center that was our voting location last year and one of this year's early voting locations.

I planned to be a considerate campaign volunteer and pull the Kinky Friedman signs at those two locations tonight. Vogon helped me pull two signs at the elementary school after my PTA board meeting ended, then we went by the second location to pick up the signs there. I was surprised that /all/ of the signs that had been there today had been removed in the half hour since the polls closed.

I hope that all of you registered to vote have exercised that right today.

If you are a US Citizen not registered to vote, please consider registering before the next election using a state registration form locally or mailing in a filled-out copy of the National Voter Registration Form (good in all states except North Dakota and Wyoming).
