  • Mood:

Good things to reflect on this week.

I'm going to write about some good things that have happeened or will happen this week because I need to redirect my thoughts from a distress-maintaining cycle about that program enrollment.

Monday: I bought some rice krispies and marshmallows to make Rice Krispie treats after Laurel gets home and some M&Ms for me. I <3 the dollar store.

Tuesday: I had a really good session with my therapist followed by a lunch date with Vogon. While I was waiting for my spinach quesadilla (I finally ate the whole thing in one sitting!), I touched base with techno1992 and talking to him always leaves me smiling.

Yesterday: I applied for a few jobs through -- an entry-level transcriptionist position and a couple of entry-level administrative assistant positions. I made Vogon laugh when I told him I met most of the requirements to be a contract telecom tech but I really wouldn't want to do that.

Today: I had homemade tortillas with honey this morning. Later on, I learned how to use the pasta rollers and liked the folk saying "You can tell the wisdom of a woman by the length of her pasta." Vogon said he'll make me Italian yet. (: I also got a possible invite out, but that's still up in the air. And the new IKEA porn catalog arrived!

Tomorrow: Getting the house ready for Laurel's return. Howl's Moving Castle should arrive from NetFlix. Also, more M&Ms.

Saturday: Laurel and Dad's flight arrives just before lunchtime. Hooray!
