The financial office at the outpatient clinic called while we were checking the mail. The voice mail informed us that this week's NorthSTAR enrollment problem was caused by a single typo in the documents I had faxed over. I have to go through the entire financial assessment again, which I want to be scheduled because I dislike walk-in hours, especially there since the waiting room has uncomfortable seating and smells like the inside of a bus.
On the bright side, I am now exceptionally glad I made the choice to have my prescription transferred to Walgreens because I would have faced 5+ days off meds if I hadn't done that.
edit 1700: Another round of phone tag later, I just have to get a corrected copy of the typo'd document sent over and go sign a new assessment form because it has to have an updated date for resubmission. Glad it's not as bad as it could be, though it's still 25 minutes' drive each way just to sign a form.
