CD World after lunch at Freebird's and Laurel renewed my belief that she has awesome taste in music, although she passed on looking for some of her favorite artists in favor of Here Comes the ABCs. Whee! It helpfully came with a $2 coupon for other Disney Records products, which I'll probably apply toward buying the DVD because I loves me some Giants, too. (;
While probably mildly frightening the cute guy browzing the jazz selection, I spotted a bunch of Old 97s albums, but couldn't decide which album to start with. Any suggestions?
On the way out, I spotted a Shonen Knife poster and was delighted to learn they're playing at the Granada on the 17th. I'd love to go, but I don't think I could find a babysitter on that short notice.
revme, are you going to their Seattle show?

bet i'ld be more happy about it than you would.
thanks tons, hon.
But yep, got my tickets for Shonen Knife already! The cool thing is that one of the openers is Sgt. Major, featuring Kurt from the Fastbacks and the Young Fresh Fellows and Jim from the Fellows. So that will be awesome.
I expect to see a full concert review! My live music experiences are lived vicariously through my friends until we find a local babysitter. (:
And, the following Friday Aimee Mann (though I'd rather see Suzanne Vega).
Oh, and they rate "California Guitar Trio" up there with Al DiMeola, a compliment that simply HAS to be an overstatement! Al DiMeola is probably the best guitarist in the world.
