Anti-procrastination day accomplishments, swimming, and things behind the couch.

Wednesdays are anti-procrastination days, so I pre-emptively took a ketoprofren and got several things that were bothering me squared away:
- I moved the table formerly occupied by my computer into the bedroom and rearranged the stuff it displaced to be tidy and/or earmarked for decluttering;
- I reassembled the kitchen drawer awaiting repair so it can hopefully be returned to use again soon; and
- I scrubbed down the bathtub and tile surround in Laurel's bathroom, making it look cleaner than I've seen it in the time I've lived here and leaving it smelling bleachy clean.

Since it's warm, sunny, and Laurel behaved reasonably well after lunch, she was rewarded with half an hour at the pool. We spent most of it in the hot tub because the jets feel good on my back and I didn't want to bother the ladies tanning alongside the shallow pool, but Laurel had a blast and broke in her new water wings. After watching some other residents swimming in the pool, she said she wants to learn how to swim; we'll see since I don't want to do another mom-and-tot class and I haven't looked into what's available near us.

While preparing to go swimming, I asked Laurel where her flippers were since they weren't in her pool bag and I hadn't seen them in months. She piped up "Behind the couch!" There's just enough space between the back of the couch and the wall for me to reach and sure enough, they were there along with three pairs of pajama pants, some cloth remants I'd been looking for, a Barbie doll dress and some miscellaneous small things I had to use a yardstick to push out into the space under the sewing table that I'll get to later.
