May at home - concert ideas?

Himself finally got leave (hooray for the new shop, where he can actually get more than 4 days of leave per year!) and we'll be home for much of May. I'm looking at going to at least one of the following shows, though the last one would require me to fly home instead of driving:

- Everclear, 7 May, Fillmore Auditorium
- Etta James, 9 May, Paramount
- Skatalites, 10 May, Bluebird Theater (all ages show, erm)
- Linda Storey / Wendy Woo, 14 May, Gothic
- The Deftones, 15 May, Ogden
- Shawn Colvin, 15 and 16 May, Union Colony Civic Center, Greeley
- Big Head Todd and the Monsters / Hootie and the Blowfish opening, 17 May, Red Rocks
- Amazing Rhythm Aces, 18 May, Little Bear (this mostly because it's so close)
- Little Hercules, 21 May, Little Bear
- Nina Storey, 23 May, Fox Theatre
- Blue Man Group, 25 May, Pepsi Center

I wish I could fudge my stay either direction since both Dar Williams and the KBCO Kinetics Sculpture Challenge (Big Bad Voodoo Daddy will be there) are on the 3rd and Wendy Woo will be at the Little Bear on 7 June. Right now I'm leaning the hardest toward Shawn Colvin (though the drive could suck) and Big Head Todd (it's Red Rocks and a great local band).

EDIT: We finally decided on Shawn Colvin. Now we just have to decide which day.

Purchase: Sesame Street cross-stitch leaflet

Remember that 1982 Sesame Street cross-stitch pattern book that I can't seem to get on eBay due to snipers? Got one thanks to Buy It Now, and for less than the ones I've missed out on go for.

Also found one of the two 1983 McCall's Sesame Street puppet patterns and placed the opening bid, but I expect not to win it since I don't want it enough to offer more than $10 for such a small pattern.

Those of new to reading me: I love classic (prior to a certain red Muppet becoming obscenely popular) Sesame Street. If this skeeves you out, you might want to bow out before I disturb you. On the other hand, if you have 1984 or earlier Sesame stuff and want to sell/trade, drop me a line.
