Rosehip hunting in Alderfer

In lieu of a Friday Five, Laurel's college fund has started.

No Friday Five this week, so I actually did something productive tonight! And no, I'm not talking about the wad of pictures I printed this week for various recipients. The poor printer on the family computer is still panting.

After months of not-so-subtle nudges from my older sister, I finally applied to open a Colorado 529 for Laurel. This was further affirmed by a post-lunch grocery run, where my cashier helpfully handed me a Upromise flier as I was bagging our stuff. In the spirit of doing things today because it seems like a good idea, I also joined Upromise and will be shortly associating it with Laurel's 529.

If you'd like to contribute to Laurel's future college funding through Upromise, drop me an e-mail and I'll send you a Friends and Family invite. All you have to do is set up an account (it's free) and direct all or a portion of your college contributions into my Upromise account for Laurel.
