Friday Five: web-browsing fun (copied from old weblog)

the friday five

1. What do you have your browser start page set to? I like starting with a blank page. I hit sites I read daily while dealing with e-mail.

2. What are your favorite news sites? I also don't get a lot of my news online. Offline, I read the Denver Post daily, Newsweek and the Canyon Courier weekly, and get my television news from 9News (KUSA - Denver) and CNN.

3. Favorite search engine? Google, hands down.

4. When did you first get online? That's loaded. I started BBSing in middle school and had FidoNet access. I got my first publicly mentioned e-mail address in 1992 (at circles.com, a domain then owned by Pat O'Connor, one of my dad's coworkers) and a telnet account from CU. Didn't do much with my website until late high school because I had better things to do. *g*

5. How do you plan to spend your weekend? No idea yet, but definitely getting some more work done on TODCRA. Looking for specific colored pop beads (small, more like jewelry than toddler-sized). Possibly getting out of the house. And taking more pictures of Laurel!
