Photo: bringing home the Christmas tree.

If you've seen or heard about "the blue car" (as Laurel calls it), you probably saw this coming. If you haven't, you'll probably still appreciate the absurdity.

Vogon found a perfect 6' Douglas fir while Laurel played on the model wooden swingsets at the garden center we went to for this year's Christmas tree. How to get it home in a Mustang convertible was apparently never an issue for him, although I had to think about it.

OMG! Make Christmas cards outta that one!

I'll keep that in mind for next year; this year I'm doing a stamped card. (:

I'm picking up the prints of the photo I'm putting in this year's holiday card tomorrow so the cards will be going out in a couple days.

P.S. Vogon loved the photo in your card. He really likes Asia's glasses.

Laurel's face in this photo is priceless.

I can't wait for your Christmas card.

I'll have to let Asia know that Vogon likes her glasses . She's been expressing more anxiety about being a four-eyed freak and it breaks my heart but yes, definitely, her glasses ARE stylish. Mommy and Daddy made sure of that!

Glasses do not make a person a freak -- being a freak is a personal decision that others should not make fun of... but... that is not related to glasses. ;)

Now, I'm a freak. I like it that way. But, I don't wear glasses. Today.

Tomorrow? Who knows.

I used to wear glasses in high school, but the other kids stole them. So, then I got contacts. But, then I decided that YOUR fear of MY driving was YOUR issue and YOU got to keep it. {grin}

And, I have encouraged the chickie to take advantage of the photo quality (no, seriously, it's really better quality than what you get at Wal-Mart!) printer that is just going to waste in the study, but... have you tried to "make" her do anything lately? If not... uhm... it isn't recommended unless you have a goat with whom you're tired of butting heads. She'll do what she'll do. Just know that a pic of anything you like (well, almost) could be in the mail tomorrow.

And, we wouldn't even have to wait for it or get mad when they didn't print what we wanted.

But, what do I know?

That is WAY too cute!
Also, Vogon's car is the same color as mine. Yay for electric blue!

Just so you know, I now own this car for exactly two reasons: It is blue, it is a convertible.

I had a carte blanche car loan sent to me for a specific amount of money. I laughed and said, "Sure, if I can find a royal blue convertible, you're on." Sure enough, I found one. I don't care who made it, I don't care what the model is, I don't care about any of the rest of the details. It's royal blue and it's a convertible. That's all I care about. :)

On the other hand, I really love this car -- which is kind of a weird experience for me. I've never even cared about a car, much less loved one. (Well, ok, I loved the MG B that I had as a teenager, but that was a serious piece of shhhhtuff.)

That pic is simply adorable and I agree with the first commenter when I say that will make a simply perfect Christmas card. =)
