This week is shaping up to be a hellacious one for child behavior.

I've already blogged about Monday. Yesterday, she was reasonably well-behaved until early evening and she went to bed early for that while I cleaned up behind her tornado in the living room. Today's been another horrid day, though right now I'm trying to let go of being upset because I was really looking forward to a cup of broccoli cheese soup from Jason's Deli. We walked out before ordering because she simply would not behave -- talking back, not standing up and finally screaming.

Now she's in her bedroom for a nap and no lunch (she'll have her afternoon snack after she wakes up), Vogon went back to work after dropping us off and telling Laurel I will spank her for throwing things, and I have a headache that's digging in. Whee.

On the bright side, I am now the closest I've been to my pre-pregnancy weight since she was born, so maybe this isn't so bad. There's a lot of clothing I've been storing that should fit me again now.

Would you like me to stop on the way home and get you a bowl of soup? I got in early today so I could manage that pretty easily.

It'd be nice, but I don't want you to go out of your way for it. I remember enough of how to make my grandmother's version of welsh rarebit I think I might try making a little later this afternoon, depending on how my head feels.

Thanks again for picking up cider yesterday. I just had a glass and it was lovely.

Yah, I always buy that for ya when I see it. I'll make a note to stop and get some soup. Maybe I should get a whole quart of it?

I appreciate it. Biko came over and sniffed it this afternoon before being distracted by the fuzzy mouse again. She scared Laurel playing with it when she somehow launched it into the air and leaped after it.

Maybe I should get a whole quart of it?

Tease. Where would we stash a whole quart of soup? Actually, that's probably feasible since it's Wednesday: refrigerator boogie night. A cup is plenty, but I'll leave the choice up to you. Thank you.

OK the man is offering to bring you the soup you were looking forward to and you are telling him not to go out of his way. Surely if it was out of his way he would never have offered! This is where you say oh would you? Thank you ever so much and give him a back rub or something when he gets in. LOL

Seriously, you sure found yourself one hell of a keeper!

Must be something in the air. Kira has been a toot the past week and I am nearly bald because of it!
