Framed by the full-length mirror and backlit by the window, it's me in the sparkly jacket, taken for may_lyn! The photo doesn't do it justice, so imagine a sheer all-over glitter the same color as the fabric that shimmers where the light hits it.

Self-portrait in mirror

Yes, the tangerine tree is as tall as me (5'2"), but I have longer hair (in a ponytail level with the top of my ears, the end of the ponytail brushes my waist) than it does... probably because trees don't have hair!

Looks cute; I wish I had one!

It's actually the nerdsprout's, but Vogon told me I could wear it. The tag says Express Jeans.

I love the jacket. :)

Thank you. It's growing on me, too -- I usually don't wear light colors.

yay pornstar jacket!

...I should probably stop leaving comments like these, but it's just so goshdarn fun!
I wanna see the sparklies!

It's funny to see how often you can use the term "pornstar" in reference to me. (:

I'll play around with lighting this afternoon and see if I can get a photo of the fabric showing the sparkle.

Pornstar sparkle!

Yeah. I'm a goof. =D

Cute self-pic! More more!

Thank you! I'm working on mastering taking self-portraits that capture what I actually want in them. I'm very good at taking photos of the side of my head. (:

Well, HELLO Girlie! So damn cute!
Nov. 16th, 2004 09:24 am (UTC)
Thank you. I'm still getting the hang of the girlie thing. Today I'm lusting after the cashmere sweaters offered online only at Wal-Mart.com, but I have no idea what pale colors actually look good on me. The sweaters I currently own fall into three categories: gray, black and dark jewel tones.

I liked you in that light blue tank top. I think you would look good in pale colors with your dark hair and your skin tone. I think you could get away with any of them so pick a color that you'd feel comfortable in.

I can't wear pale colors - I look ghostly.

nice pic! Your hair looks longer (bangs)
Nov. 13th, 2004 03:11 pm (UTC)
No bangs, that was a wisp that fell out of my ponytail. I have a little bit of hair close to my face that's just wispy enough to not stay when I put the rest of my hair up.

When I was 18, I spent a whole school year growing out the bangs I'd had for as long as I could remember. I paid someone to cut my hair (mistake #1) the summer afterward when I was ready to donate my hair to charity and they ingored my "chin length, no bangs" for reasons I still don't understand (mistake #2: going to a Supercuts). I haven't let anyone cut my hair since and I'll cut it myself next time I'm ready to donate.

your right the photo doesnt do justice that the jacket sparkles
but it looks good on you. with or without the sparkles
Nov. 16th, 2004 09:26 am (UTC)
Thank you. I'm going to try taking photos later today of just the jacket to see if I can capture the sparkles. I am way too easily distracted by shiny things. (:

You're so damn cute it makes my teeth hurt.

Hurt me! Ohhh... hurt me baby!

Now I want to rush home from work and ravish you furiously.

And I thought I was the one with oversensitive teeth in this house!

I can have a sandwich ready for the midget when you come home so we can *ahem* have a few minutes to ourselves.
