I finally kicked my butt into finding the nearest library. Dallas' Renner Frankford branch is just over three and a half miles away and Carrollton's Josey Ranch Lake branch is four miles away in the opposite direction.

It's interesting to live so far from a library now that I'm in such a densely populated area. My parents' house is barely a mile from the Evergreen library.

So long as it is carefully coordinated I am certain that there would be no problem with me dropping you of and then coming and getting you. That would be less than a 15 minute drive round trip and people spend more than that on smoke breaks. Better yet, I could come and drop you off at around 10 and then pick you up at lunch, or drop you off after lunch and pick you up when you were done (you do have a cell, ya know).

I appreciate it, but I really don't want to take you away from work for that. The closer branches are well within my walking range and I can always bribe Laurel to go a little further with a fruit leather or cold drink. (:
