Photo: Laurel and I in a MiG-17.

After seeing a P-51 fly over at lunchtime, we went to the Cavanaugh Flight Museum for their Memorial Day event. Laurel wasn't terribly excited by the static displays, but she loved the handcrafted model of the USS Hornet, the kids' bouncy castle, and sitting in the cockpit of a MiG-17 with me. (:

Yes, she's pulling the stick toward herself. She also poked every single dial and asked me to read the labels, but I can't read the Cyrillic alphabet. Yet.

Thank you!

The eye-patching has really paid off for Laurel -- she's cross-eyed far less frequently now. I think she's cute both ways, but I feel better about it when her eyes are straighter.

Thank you. I feel more fashionable and less fourteen-year-old-fangirl in my chunky frames now that I've had them for a few months. And the top's a Hawaiian shirt! (:

Thanks. And probably, since I haven't had a haircut since... *thinks* fall 2000, maybe. It's currently just above my waist when it's down, but most days it's in a ponytail or pinned up to keep it out of my face.
