I want to start liking the metallic thread I'm finishing New World Discovery with. It feels like a third of the three-ply Kreinik cord I couched on a piece in the past, but it tangles like nothing I've ever seen. If I can just hang in there for the remainder of it (several hundred stitches around the border of one strand each of metallic and floss), I'll be in the home stretch of three strands of floss half-stitches, backstitching and french knots, but today I put it down instead. I am amazed at myself, but I need to get my hands on an appropriate-sized scroll frame to work on Amy's wedding piece.
Laurel pooped in the potty for the first time and needlework musing.
