Hi, I'm Melissa. I was born and reared for 10 years in New England, followed by several years in Colorado with brief periods of exile in Virginia and North Carolina. Since 2004, I've made Texas home with the help of ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small}
vogonpoet, my daughter and a series of cats. He sustained a traumatic brain injury in May 2005 and has been increasingly difficult to live with since then, but we were already in a committed relationship and I will stick with him until he kicks over. This cake is delicious. I periodically post pictures, but always behind a cut tag. Ditto for particularly long posts and anything I think might be TMI to my general readership. The numbers preceding text in my tags are the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) for each tag's subject.
