Packages arrived.

Just an aside to let cathouse_blues know the books arrived (I'll be reading Kitchen Confidential next time I'm waiting in the clinic) and Mom that the care package arrived -- Laurel is wearing the Dora the Explorer t-shirt right now and clomping around in the shoes (tell Amy she has excellent taste).

I find it amusing that the UPS truck (my favorite deliveryman is back, yay for Ron) pulled out just as the mailperson arrived. She grumbled that I didn't go to the post office for the parcel, but I sent Himself yesterday after I filled out the "please redeliver" slips she left twice. There's a laminated card glued to the inside of the mailbox door that says I'm home all day so it's fine to deliver packages and that in the rare event we're not home, they can be left with Miss S--- next door. Meh.

I tried to wish you well during yesterday's LJ weirdness but I don't think anything got through. I hope you find a good solution to your current female related troubles. It's just not fair that the more fun sex has to go through what you do!

Thanks.

If the base clinic keeps blowing me off I'll wait until we move home and get taken care of there. (There's only one practice that accepts Tricare near my parents, but I've always had good experiences there and were actually waiting to take Laurel there for her 3-year checkup.)
