1122_04lalaeating Thanksgiving was enjoyable this year, thanks in small part to my mother agreeing with me that a roasting bag really is the next best thing to having a roasting pan. The final version of my chocolate-topped raspberry cheesecake came out much better with the berries thawed and I got to enjoy it this time. (I didn't get to try my first attempt due to my sinuses making my stomach unhappy. Luckily my new civvie doctor is nothing short of wonderful and gave me a phenergan shot on Wednesday so I only went about 24 hours without keeping anything down. It really does improve my quality of life there...)

Laurel enjoyed her first real Thanksgiving dinner, right down to the cranberry sauce. I got a few really cute pictures of her trying to snatch a bite of stuffing from the serving spoon and putting turkey in her aunt Amy's face in response to Amy teasing her.
