Today's good news: Kroger carries a generic knockoff of the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser called Erase It, and they're on sale right now 4 for $5.

They're equivalent to the regular Magic Eraser product, not the Duo (which I prefer) or the heavy duty one, but you can't beat the price! The regular Magic Eraser is $2.99 and the other Magic Eraser products are $2.69 each at my local store.

(Note: in all cases, 'each' is two erasers.)

Thanks for the heads-up. There are no Kroger stores in San Diego, but Ralphs carries some Kroger-branded products. My most recent Magic Eraser is beginning to look quite sad.

Let me just tell you, I had my first Mr. Clean Magic Eraser experience a few months ago, and oh my was it ever beautiful! Glad to know about the knock off, so I can better afford such a great invention...
