First things first: January 2004 photos are up. Fewer photos than usual, but there's an action shot of Laurel throwing a snowball at the camera and (finally) a shot of her in her bomber jacket.

One of the most recent shots I have of Laurel shows off her eyepatch art. We decorate plain eyepatches with stickers or drawings for her and today she asked for Stanley.
Laurel's eyepatch: Stanley

Beta: Based off the cover of Stanley's Tiger Tales PC game, done with Prismacolor art markers in black (PM-68), sienna brown (PM-65) and Tuscan red (PM-169) on a junior size 3M Opticlude eyepatch.

I had a camera like the one on your icon when I was a child.
It's the kind you hold down at your waist to take a photo, right?

I will AGAIN say - Laurel has the bluest eyes I've ever seen. Those blue eyes and dark hair - she's just gorgeous!

Re:
I don't know about taking photos from the hip, but the camera in my icon is a 1950s Kodak Brownie Hawkeye without the flash. My grandmother gave the one in the picture to me after she found it cleaning out her attic when I was a little burrito. Little did she know she was starting a lifelong hobby for me.

I'm always amazed by Laurel's eyes. She's such a ham for photos, too. (:

Re:
My camera looked like that but I had to look DOWN into it to take the photo. I'd hold it below my belly button and snap the shot.

Have no idea what kind of camera it was. That icon just makes me think of it.

Yep, she's a beauty like her mom. :)
